Whaley Children's Center has a record breaking Tux and Tennies Gala
FLINT, Mich. — Medawar Jewelers, along with host sponsor Grand Blanc Motorcars, presented the annual Tux & Tennies Gala and Auction on Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Grand Blanc Motorcars in Grand Blanc, Mich. With 350 community members in attendance, the event was record breaking and surpassed the $150,000 goal.
The Tux & Tennies Gala is one of Whaley Children’s Center's (WCC) three major annual fundraisers and was a celebration of WCC's 90th Anniversary. It featured live entertainment by Yacht Rock Revue, cocktail hour, dinner, a wine cork raffle, Super Card Raffle, as well as a live and silent auction. Emcees Fred Hensler from Sapphire Blue Investment Partners and Pat & AJ from Cars 108 kept the night entertaining and exciting!

Whaley Children’s Center is an independent, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1926 that provides residential child care services to children age 5-17 years old who have suffered chronic and profound abuse and neglect.
