Medawar Jewelers Donates $8,000 Rolex to Be Raffled at Whaley Children’s Center Event

The Tux & Tennies Gala and Auction, hosted by Grand Blanc Motorcars on May 18, will be an evening of dinner, dancing, fun and fundraising. With entertainment from Mark Randisi and the Motor City Jazz Orchestra, delicious food from Redwood Steakhouse and impressive auction items such as a jet for a day and a South African safari, the 350 expected guests are in for an exciting evening!

One of the most anticipated aspects of the evening is a Rolex Raffle sponsored by Medawar Jewelers. For just $100, guests can purchase the chance to win a men’s 41 mm steel and white gold DateJust II valued at $8,000. Only 150 tickets are available for purchase before or during the event, and winners need not be present to win. Anyone interested can purchase a raffle ticket at:

“The Rolex is a very generous donation from Medawar Jewelers, and we appreciate it very much,” said DeAndra McCain, development and special events coordinator at Whaley Children’s Center. “Because all the profits from this event go directly back to our children, the proceeds from the ticket sales will visibly make a difference in the lives of all 48 heartbeats for whom we provide care.”
